2010 Clio - Bordeaux Blend
Much like the previous vintage, winner of the 2015 Governor’s Cup, this wine presents an enticing burgundy hue with medium acidity and medium tannin, this wine is well balanced with a velvety mouth feel. The palette is dominated by notes of tart cherry and vanilla. This wine benefits from decanting and is drinking well now for those who prefer young, lively Bordeaux red. For those who prefer to wait it will develop in the bottle for years to come. Wine critic Richard Leahy called it his favorite red wine of 2015!
Winner of Silver Medal in 2015 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. Gold Medal in 2015 Indy International Wine Competition and Silver at the 2016 Virginia Governor’s Cup.
